Cada día tengo que coger el autobús, como supongo que hará una cantidad considerable de valencianos, debido a la situación ligeramente alejada de mi lugar de estudios. Y, claro, lo cojo a unas horas casi indecentes, razón por la que pocas ganas tengo de tener que ir andando. Ambos motivos me obligan a tomar el transporte público.
Sin embargo, desde hará unos cuantos meses he ido observando asombrado cómo de los cuatro autobuses que pasaban el año pasado (lectivo) de siete y media a ocho se han reducido a dos. Y claro, eso de la planificación parece que no se encuentra en el diccionario del ministerio de transportes (o dónde corresponda ), porque cuando ves que a las siete y venticinco pasa un autobús prácticamente vacío y al cuarto de hora/veinte minutos pasa otro tan abarrotado que ni yo mismo quepo (para los que no me conozcan, soy bajito y delgado) te acuerdas de algunos de los parientes de la EMT. El otro día ni siquiera pude cogerlo, y gracias a que pasó un amigo en moto y pude entrar en clase a primera hora. La verdad es que tampoco me habría importado excesivamente haber perdido la primera hora y tomarme un cafecito (no, la verdad es que no mucho), pero la gente trabaja y tiene unos horarios. Si no los cumplen, pueden despedirles.
Y también es sorprendente la capacidad que tiene tanto la línea 19 como la 4 de tardar exactamente los veinte minutos que estipula que deberían tardar, o de superarlos con una frecuencia y una habilidad casi deslumbrantes. Por supuesto, la que se lleva la palma es la 4 porque como pasa por el corte inglés (donde casi no recoge a ni un pasajero, de todos es sabido que un corte inglés nunca tiene clientes) y por la plaza del ayuntamiento (otro lugar nada frecuentado por la población valenciana) no tiene apenas importancia que hayan más autobuses dedicados a esa línea concreta.
Pero lo que más me está quemando es que esto ya pasaba desde antes del comienzo de 2008, año en el que consecutivamente han subido el precio del transporte público. Sin embargo, a pesar de este aumento de ingresos no he visto ni una sola mejora en el servicio. Todo lo contrario, o ha seguido todo como estaba o ha ido a peor. Y la verdad, como usuario realmente asiduo de EMT creo que tengo cierto derecho a quejarme con considerable rabia ante este insulto al dinero que ingreso en el saldo de esta empresa. Porque ya que suben el precio cada año, ya que una cantidad considerable de conductores deberían comprender que tratar bien a los pasajeros no está penalizado y, sobre todo, porque aunque dependa del autobús no estoy dispuesto a tragar indefinidamente.

Completamente de acuerdo. Me gustaría añadir también el aspecto de la "huelga de trabajadores" los lunes y miércoles, de 7 a 8 y de 19 a 20 h.
Más de una vez no he llegado a primera hora (sobre todo los lunes con física) gracias a esto, o me ha tocado correr, o cosas por el estilo.
La línea que a mí más me afecta es la 89 (la 90 no porque como es para volver pues vas más tranquilo).
Recuerdo el año pasado, salía a las 7.45 de mi casa y en 15 minutos llegaba a la parada del bus (la de antes de peris y valero), lo cogía, bajaba en la 3a parada tras el puente y llegaba andando al instituto.
A finales de 2007 quitaron la parada porque iban a realizar una "mejora del servicio" mediante los buses dobles y no cabían en esa parada. Por ese motivo, trasladaron la parada 100 metros más alejada de la anterior.
Como no, los autobuses dobles sí, eran más grandes. ¿Pero de que sirven si antes pasaban 4 buses en 30 minutos y ahora pasaban 2?
El problema viene a inicios del 2008. La huelga sigue, el servicio sigue igual...
Ahora tengo que salir de mi casa a las 7:30 (a las 7:20 los lunes y miercoles debido a la huelga), andar más, llegar a una parada REPLETA de gente y ver como, tal y como pone en el cartel del servicio mínimo, hay una reducción del servicio, dejando el 60%.Cosa que me afecta drectamente, porque si antes pasaban 2 buses dobles en media hora, ahora pasaba 1, y lleno. Si lo pillabas bien, y sino también.
Pero claro, te paras a pensar y dices "¿cómo va a haber una reducción del 60% si solo pasa 1?
Pues sí. La hay. En lugar de pasar un autobus doble, te pasa uno viejo. Lleno hasta la puerta, y encima, con retraso, pues el bus se pasa de 3 a 4 minutos en cada parada porque todos queremos llegar al insti o a trabajar.
La verdad es que no veo solución a esto, suben los precios, se reduce el servicio, existen quejas...
pero aquí nadie hace nada.
